Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Delhi is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I under the project titled “Development of framework for abnormality identification in quality assessed small bowel capsule endoscopy video frames”.
- B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science/IT Engineering, Biomedical Engineering with First Class. OR M.E. / M.Tech Degree in the discipline of ECE, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science/IT, Biomedical Engineering with a minimum of 60% Marks.
- A thorough knowledge of neural networks, deep learning architectures is a must.
- A prior experience or project on python with implementation on GPU is a must.
Desired Qualifications: A prior experience of working on medial data using deep learning architectures is desirable.
Job Description: To perform the assigned work and assist the PI in various phases of the research project
Terms and Conditions: 1. The project is up to 17th January, 2026 which may be extended after the approval from SERB. Participation in any workshops/scientific event/conferences/visit to any organization or academic institution for project work in India will treated as “on duty” with prior approval of the competent authority/PI. 2. The selected candidate will not be entitled to any other allowances like TA, DA, medical benefits or any others benefits. 3. Six-month Satisfactory Assessment is mandatory to continue the benefit of the fellowship during the period of project. Termination of the candidate anytime is on the sole discretion of the committee or Principal Investigator of project due to unsatisfactory performance. 4. The selected candidate shall be governed by the rules and regulations formulated for the Research and Consultancy at IGDTUW. 5. The selected candidate must send a report of the research work done during the period of fellowship as may be asked by DST-SERB. 6. The candidate called for interview is not entitled for TA/DA. 7. This temporary appointment will be for a specific period and their services will automatically stand terminated thereafter. The termination may happen even before that period with a notice period of one month from either side or upon the unsatisfactory report by the progress reviewing committee. 8. The appointment will not be bestowed upon them any claim for regular employment. 9. Candidates should also bring no objection certificate from the Employer in case he/she is employed somewhere. 10. All the communication to the shortlisted/selected candidate will be done via Email only. 11. The competent authority reserves the right to fill up or not to fill the vacancies notified in this advertisement.
