Department of Economic Affairs Hiring Platemaker on Deputation/Absorption

Department of Economic Affairs is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Platemaker on Deputation/Absorption.

Eligibility: (a) i. Persons holding the analogous post on regular basis or; ii. Persons in the scale (pre-revised) of Rs.3050-4590 having 8 years of regular service in the grade and; (b) Possessing the qualification and experience indicated as under, subject to qualifying a Trade Test.

Essential: i. Matriculation or its equivalent. ii. A certificate of successful completion of apprenticeship in the trade under Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961). iii. Three years’ experience in platemaking in a press of repute.

The Ministry of Finance is a ministry within the Government of India concerned with the economy of India, serving as the Treasury of India. In particular, it concerns itself with taxation, financial legislation, financial institutions, capital markets, centre and state finances, and the Union Budget.^[1]

The Ministry of Finance is the apex controlling authority of four central civil services namely Indian Revenue Service, Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Economic Service and Indian Civil Accounts Service. It is also the apex controlling authority of one of the central commerce services namely Indian Cost and Management Accounts Service.
