Deputation-Based Faculty Posts at Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, Mizoram

Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, Mizoram is inviting applications from individuals to fill the following positions on Deputation Basis:

1. Professor (Pharmacy): Essential: 1. A Ph.D Degree with Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution. 2. Experience of 10 (ten) years in teaching/research in recognized Institution out of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor/Level 12. 3. A degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), from a recognized Institution and 4. Registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments. OR 1. A Ph.D degree with Pharm D from recognized Institution. 2. Experience of 10 (ten) years in teaching/research in recognized Institution out of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor/Level 12. 3. Registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.
2. Professor (Medical Laboratory Technology): For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the subject of Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry with experience of 10(ten) years in teaching/research in a recognized institution out of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor/Level 12. 3. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
3. Professor (Radio Imaging Technology): 1 For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the subject of Radiology/ Gynaecology/ Medicine/ Paediatric with experience of 10(ten) years in teaching/research in a recognized institution out of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor/ Level 12. 3. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
4. Professor (Optometry): 1 For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the subject of Ophthalmology/Public Health with experience of 10(ten) years in teaching/research in a recognized institution out of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor/ Level 12. 3. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
5. Associate Professor (Pharmacy): 1 Essential : 1. A Ph.D Degree with Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization from recognized Institute. 2. Experience of 6 (six) years in teaching/research from recognized Institution at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade. 3. A degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), from a recognized Institution and 4. Registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments. OR 1. Ph.D degree with Pharm D, with the experience of 6 (six) years in teaching/research at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade after obtaining PhD. 2. Registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.
6. Associate Professor (Medical Laboratory Technology): 1 For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the subject of Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry with 6 (six) years teaching or research experience from a recognized institution in the subject of speciality, and 3. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
7. Associate Professor (Optometry): 2 For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the subject of Ophthalmology/Public Health with 6 (six) years teaching or research experience from a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto, and 3. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
8. Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) (Nursing): 1 Essential: 1. Master’s Degree in the relevant Discipline in Nursing from INC recognized Institute. 2. Registered under Indian Nursing Council, and 3. 5 (five ) years’ teaching experience after obtaining M. Sc (Nursing) from INC recognized Institute.
9. Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) (Medical Laboratory Technology): 1 For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the respective subject of Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry. 3. 5 (five ) years’ teaching experience in the subject concerned from a recognized institute. 4. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
10. Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) (Optometry): 2 For Medical Candidates: 1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in Scheduled l & ll or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act l956. Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section l3(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), 2. A Post Graduate qualifications e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent there-to in the discipline of Ophthalmology/Public Health. 3. 5 (five) years’ teaching experience in the subject concerned form a recognized institute. 4. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council.
