Indian Institute of Management Lucknow Hiring Manager Investment on Contract

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Manager Investment on Contract Basis.

Qualifications: • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with CA (inter)/ CS (inter)/ CWA (Inter) or MBA/ PGDM in Finance. • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in financial modeling and valuations. • Significant exposure with government departments/ agencies/ allied organizations/ Private sector/ venture Capitalists, along with demonstration of fundraising for non-profit organizations shall be preferred. • The candidate must have a good track record of academic performance from a reputed institution. • Strong knowledge in the area of the Startup Investment Process and Financial Modeling including Startup Due Diligence & Negotiation skills. • Strong network with various government agencies and corporates and ability to build strategic partnerships. • Exposure to Cash Flow, Valuation, Equity and Cap table management (desirable). • Proficiency in MS-Office.

Job description & Key responsibilities: • Analyze financial statements, forecasts and funding requirements of startups. • Financial modeling and analysis. • Enterprise Valuation (Pvt equity). • Financial due diligence & Cap Table calculation. • Strong knowledge in the area of the Startup Investment Process and Financial Modeling including Startup Due Diligence & Negotiation skills. • Exposure to Cash Flow, , Valuation, Equity and Cap table management (desirable). • Industry trend and data research & analysis. • Ability to read and evaluate Term Sheets and Share Holder Agreements. • Experience in working with senior management and startup founders. • Excellent communication & presentation skills. • Most important, should fit into the team behaviorally, technically, culturally while maintaining a high standard of ethics.

General Conditions:  Last date of submitting online application is 31 st March 2023 before 5:30 PM. Initial appointment will be for 1 year on contract renewable further subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and need of the IIML-EIC. The compensation will be decided out depending on qualification, experience, last drawn salary and relevant factors.
