Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Research Associate position in theoretical astrophysics physics to work on a SERB sponsored project titled “Decoding The Physics Of High Density Matter At Neutron Star Cores Through Gravitational Wave Simulation”.

Essential:  A PhD degree in the area of astrophysics from a recognized university/institute.

Desirable: Candidates with prior working experience and good knowledge in Gravitational-Wave Simulations, Machine Learning and Equation of States in neutron stars will be given preference. Candidates who have completed their Ph.D. from IISER Bhopal are not allowed to apply for the positions.

How to apply:  The applicant should send the completed application in PDF format (Annexture-1) along with the latest CV, list of publications and future research plan, duly mentioning the subject line as “Application for the Post of Research Associate -1 (Physics)” by email to mallick@iiserb.ac.in on or before March 10, 2023. Applicants must attach scan copy of Ph.D. Degree certificate OR Ph.D. Thesis submission receipt, if the Ph.D. Degree is yet to be  awarded.
