Lab Technician and Staff Nurse Needed at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur is inviting applications from individuals to fill the posts of Lab Technician and Staff Nurse.

• Lab Technician:
  1. Essential Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in medical laboratory.
  2. Job Profile: • Receive, label and analyze samples (Maternal blood, cord-blood, breast milk and neonatal blood). • Execute ELISA according to the standard procedure and record observations. • Coordinate with data entry operator to record and maintain test results accurately and responsibly. • Organize and store all samples, chemicals, kits according to safety instructions. • Maintain equipment and assist in ordering lab supplies. • Management of biomedical waste generated.
  3. Job duration: 12 Months
  4. Place of work: AIIMS, Raipur
  5. Monthly salary: Rs. 18,000/- Consolidated
• Staff Nurse:
  1. Essential Qualification: Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) + 2 Year Experience OR B.Sc. Nursing. *Registered as Nurse & Midwife with state or State Nursing Council
  2. Age Limit: 30 Years
  3. Job Profile: • Take detailed history and help SRF to fill in case record forms • Draw maternal sample of vaccinated mothers at the time of delivery • Coordinate with the delivery doctor to collect cord blood sample • Take neonatal sample of the recruited mothers within 48 hours of birth along with breast milk samples • Ensure adequate storage, labelling and transfer of these samples to the lab. • Coordinate with PI to sort out any road blocks in the project execution • In case the samples are collected in emergency hours, ensure project records (consent forms, case record forms) are complete and samples are transferred to the lab the following day.
  4. Job duration: 12 Months
  5. Place of work: AIIMS, Raipur
  6. Monthly salary: Rs. 31,500/- Consolidated
