Professor Needed at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu)

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST–Jammu) is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Civil Engineering.

Essential qualification: M. Tech (Civil Engineering)

Desirable qualification: Doctoral degree NET Teaching experience

Terms and conditions for academic arrangement are as under: 1. The engagement shall be purely on contract basis. 2. No legal right to claim his/her regularization/ appointment by the absorption or otherwise against any regular post in the university would be entertained. In event of relinquishing of the engagement one month notice is essential. 3. The appointment is for one semester or till the sanctioned posts are filled through recruitment process by the Competent Authority, whichever is earlier. The extension for one more semester may be granted subject to be satisfactory performance of the contractee and availability of the funds and requirement of the Faculty. 4. Eligible candidates shall be informed through e-mail only. 5. No. TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. 6. The contractual positions advertised herein can be withdrawn at any time as per the decision of the University.
