Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project titled “Bioleaching process for the recovery of precious metals (Cu, Ag) from electronic waste: towards circular economy”.
Essential Qualifications: M.Tech Degree in Biotechnology/ Bioprocess engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering OR M.Sc in Biotechnology and related disciplines.
Desirable qualification: (1) Preference will be given to candidates having CSIR/UGC JRF NET/GATE (2) Experience in Bioprocess lab (3) Experience with wet lab will be given preference

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT Mesra) is a public deemed institute in Jharkhand, India. It was established in 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi, by the industrialist B. M. Birla. The institute was later headed by G. P. Birla, and the present chairman of the board of governors is C. K. Birla. It was declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act.
