Teaching Posts at University of Calicut

University of Calicut is inviting applications from individuals to fill the post of Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences (On Contract).

Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree(M.Sc) in Environmental Science / Environmental Studies / Environmental Management / Environmental Science and Management / Environmental Technology with a minimum percentage marks as stipulated by the UGC/University
2. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test in Environmental / Earth Sciences conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR.
3. Desirable – Ph.D in Environmental Sciences

General Instructions: 1.The appointment will be for a period of one year on contract basis. 2. Upper age limit : 64 years 3.The candidates short-listed for interview should produce the certificates in original in proof of their age, qualification, experience and community. 4. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from other Universities/State should produce Equivalency Certificate issued by this University as per the revised regulations for the issuance of equivalent recognition certificates, at the time of interview. 5. No TA/DA will be allowed to the candidates attending interview.
