Two Research Officer positions are available at the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Trust.

The Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Trust is seeking applications for two Research Officer positions.

• Education Qualification: 1st Class PG Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics /Economics or 1st Class degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical/ Electronics /Computer Science /IT) or 1st Class MBA in relevant branch (Operation/ Production/ Systems/ Finance / Data Science).
• Experience: – 3 years in data analysis / project management.

Desirable: Any relevant courses in IT, Data Analytics and Data Science will be preferred

Job objectives for the posts of Research Officers (on contract): •Furnishing different kinds of structured/ unstructured information regarding MIS/ Project data as per urgent requirement of the Ministry/IPA/Sagarmala Cell, including Annual Administration Reports of SMPK and the data for the annual statistical reports of IPA and TRW wing, MoPSW. •Preparing Write ups/PPTs on various meetings/visit of dignitaries/ furnishing Press briefs/content issues of Seminars, Trade Meets/ MIS etc, compiling responses to series of Parliamentary queries frequently. •Critical appraisal and firming up of comments on Consultants reports’/Master Plan etc. • Tracking and monitoring MIV 2030 and MIV 2047 related activities. Maintaining close interactive liaison with HDC officials in tandem with KDS counterparts for seamless transmission and reconciliation of MIS / project related data.
